Inspirational Stories with moral # 28 – The Group of Frogs
Once upon a time, in a serene, green forest, there lived a group of frogs. These frogs spent their days hopping around the shimmering pond, basking in the warm sunlight. One rainy day this group of frogs was traveling through the woods. While they were moving on small road; two of them slipped and fell into a deep pit. The other frogs crowded around the pit to help their two friends. The pit was deep enough and none of them could provide any help. They told the two frogs; that there was no hope left for them.
However, the two frogs ignored what the others were saying and decided to any how come out from the pit. They started with full efforts to jump out of the pit.

Despite their efforts, the group of frogs at the top of the pit were still saying them to stop and that they should just give up. That they would never make it out.
Eventually, one of the frogs took heed to what the others were saying and he gave up, falling down to his death. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die.
He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, “Did you not hear us?”
The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.
Moral of the story:
The power of words... it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Your encouraging and positive words can make a difference in someone’s life; no matter how difficult the situations are for him/her.
Be careful while you speak with others and think about what you say before it comes out of your mouth. It might just be the difference between life and death.
The inspiring story also teaches us that we should be mindful of the words and opinions of others. While some may offer genuine support and encouragement, others may project their own limitations and fears onto us. It is important to filter out the negative voices and focus on our inner strength and belief in ourselves. Forget about what negative people are saying to you. Just focus on your goal and work hard. One day at the perfect moment you will be ripped for all your hard work.
The story also emphasizes the power of perception and mindset. The deaf frog’s interpretation of the crowd’s words shaped his actions and determination. It highlights the fact that we have the ability to choose how we perceive and respond to the words and influences around us.
